About your workplace
Own and evolve our enterprise Content Management platform (Contentstack) as a reliable, secure, and scalable foundation for content operations across brands and markets. You will build and maintain extensions and integrations, steward platform governance (roles, workflows, environments), and act as the technical counterpart to the vendor— ensuring that architecture choices, usage patterns, and operations comply with our contractual, security, and data‑protection obligations while empowering product and content teams to ship value faster.Key responsibilities:
-
- Platform ownership & roadmap – Serve as the technical owner for Contentstack: define platform guardrails, backlog, and evolution strategy in line with our API‑first/composable architecture and editorial needs.
- Build & maintain extensions – Design, develop, and run extensions, webhooks, and Automation Hub flows; integrate services (e.g., translation, search, personalization) and keep them resilient, observable, and cost‑efficient.
- Release & environment management – Establish CI/CD for schemas, roles, and configuration in close collaboration with DevOps; manage branches/environments, versioning, and safe rollouts.
- Governance & access control – Operate robust RBAC, SSO/SCIM, and content workflows; ensure segregation of duties across global/local roles and auditability of changes.
- Operational excellence (SRE mindset) – Define SLOs, monitor availability, performance, and API/bandwidth quotas; lead incident response and post‑mortems; continuously reduce MTTR and change failure rate.
- Vendor management & compliance – Act as day‑to‑day technical counterpart to Contentstack: track SLA/SLO adherence, coordinate adoption of new features, and ensure platform usage stays within MSA/DPA/security terms.
- Architecture alignment – Ensure integrations and usage patterns follow our API‑first, loosely‑coupled architecture; partner with solution architects to keep the CMS decoupled from channel frontends.
- Key integrations – Connect the CMS with adjacent platforms (e.g., DAM, commerce, search, translation) and maintain reliable data flows and CDNs; contribute to progressive adoption of the target DAM.
- Enablement & documentation – Produce runbooks, admin guides, and “how‑to” content; coach content editors and engineers; keep Skillbook/portal pages current.
Competencies/Skills for position:
-
- CMS/Contentstack expertise – Hands‑on with Content Delivery/Management/APIs, environments/branches, roles, and webhooks.
- Software engineering fundamentals – Strong vanilla Javascript know-how, Vue.js/NUXT or similar; serverless/event‑driven design
- Architecture patterns – Comfortable with MACH/composable and API‑first designs; able to keep frontends decoupled and services loosely coupled.
- Security & data protection – Practical knowledge of SSO/SCIM, least‑privilege, audit logging; familiarity with contractual/security addenda and DPA obligations.
- Integration skills – Experience integrating CMS with DAM, commerce, search, and translation systems; understanding of CDN/image optimization.
- Vendor & stakeholder management – Able to translate platform needs into vendor actions; clear communication with product, content, DevOps, security, and legal partners.
- Enablement & documentation – Proven record creating admin guides/runbooks and enabling editors/engineers through training and self‑service resources.
