About the position:
- Part of the Content Leading team, building the Miele international content strategy.
- Responsible to implement communications and content strategy across all channels and creating & implementing dedicated content strategy per channel.
- Responsible for the creation, management, and optimization of all channel content, either derived from master content or developed specifically for the channel.
- This role involves working closely in a matrix structure with the Product Content team as well as the channel owners to ensure content is engaging, consistent, and aligned with the brand’s and channel’s objectives.
Key responsibilities:
Strategy
- Contribute to the Miele international Content strategy, with main focus on how sales and media channels and how to ensure Miele speaks with one voice across the customer journey.
- Implement and manage the content & comms strategy for all channels (website, ecom, social, digital, CRM, Trade Marketing)
- Develop the channel content strategy for all channels, with regards to channel specific requirements needed for the respective channels in terms of technical specs as well as messaging strategy.
- Understand and implement content automization processes and tools where relevant.
- Define content KPIs and track performance to optimize content.
- Budget management: spend resource efficiently & effectively; Responsible to comply with procurement & buying processes
Content Creation, Management & distribution:
- Development of all channel specific content for brand and product campaigns, from briefing over creative concept evaluation to overseeing productions and postproduction as well as implementation toolkits. (This content is derived from master content developed by the Product Content team)
- Brief product content team with channel specific requirements to be taken into account in master content development
- Development of channel dedicated content: from briefing over creative concept evaluation to overseeing productions and postproduction as well as implementation toolkits.
- Introduce AI and automation to drive efficiency, efficacy and speed
- Ensure measurement and tracking capabilities are in place, so content can be tested, evaluated and optimized.
- Ensure all content is consistent with the brand voice, style, and tone.
Leadership & Key interfaces
- Lead a team Channel Content mngrs
- Develop R&R and processes to ensure cross functional WoW with Product Content and channel owners
- Main SPOC for the channel owners during content creation projects
- Work closely with the Product content teams for campaign development
- Management of creative agencies, their deliverables, offers and timelines
- Work closely with other stakeholders: Media & comms strategy for comms strategy & planning, campaign implementation guidance; Key VGs: alignment along the creative process phases
Competencies/Skills for position
- The ideal candidate has a strong background in digital marketing, content creation, and data-driven decision-making.
- University degree in business studies, major in marketing / digital management or other relevant fields
- Experienced professional with leadership experience (>5yrs) in communication & content creation, with some media planning or performance marketing experience preferred
- Experience in working with a premium brand
- Collaboration & networking skills; team player
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
- English proficiency (verbally and written)
